Comprehensive 2007 Annual Report is Released

The 2007 CIMIT Annual Report has been completed and disseminated to consortium institutions, governmental agencies, healthcare leaders, individual stakeholders, CIMIT friends and supporters, leaders of the investment community and select members of the media.

The handsomely-designed 48-page publication contains sections that outline CIMIT’s history, explain its mission and goals, and provide a Year in Review of 2007.

It explains CIMIT’s successful initiatives to transform healthcare through technology, and provides a detailed overview of the organization’s promising programs. It also provides context and explanations of grants and awards, and offers a statistical breakdown on how to measure impact of CIMIT-supported research projects.

The report, produced by Communications Director Elaine Richardson, explains the programs that CIMIT makes available to research teams and provides a section on financial highlights. It also includes an update on philanthropic giving.

In a brief introduction, Executive Director John Parrish, MD, said, “The CIMIT community is a vibrant and powerful network connecting many of the most brilliant scientists, engineers, and clinicians in Boston. Our mission is based on the core belief that better health care for people worldwide is within our reach, and that technology can and should be part of the solution.”

The 2007 Annual Report reflects that aspiration. Click to view the annual report.
