of society, including healthcare. Our experiences and perspectives are US-centric,

are global in nature and apply to education, research and clinical
care. The growing importance of developing countries, globalization
and "flat world" factors provide opportunities and threats. The focus
of our discussion will be the implications and possibilities for collaborative
transformation in healthcare raised by the internet revolution.
