BACKGROUND

Mark Grinstaff received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, then completed postdoctoral training at the California Institute of Technology. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University Medical School and an Associate Professor of Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, where he pursues interdisciplinary research in the creation of biomaterials for delivery of anti-cancer drugs, biodegradable scaffolds for cartilage repair, and repair of corneal lacerations.
